If I had the Way-Back machine today, I'd skip on over to Medieval France. Just for a day or two, mind, in all my finery. Granted, it would probably be safer just to traipse over to France for the day and head to the Cluny Museum, le Musee Nationale du Moyen Age.
Then I could see the following:
The Unicorn Tapestries, 1495 - 1505
(these may be at the Cloisters now in NYC - were lovely when I saw them in Paris)
Mary with Child, 14th century
Not to mention the stained glass up top... one of many beautiful window details.
