Terpsichore

Terpsichore - one of the Muses. Her name means "delight of dancing".

The grave's a fine and private place
but none I think do there embrace.
- Andrew Marvell, "To His Coy Mistress"

But they do dance; yes, they do dance!

Mountain and Hawk

Today, I walked on Mount Arabia for the first time. The granite made pools of itself, filled them up with rainwater and red moss. It seemed like the ocean and the moon melted together. I spoke to the scrub trees like one in the desert. They answered as desert beings will - dryly and full of humour.

After walking down and through the forest, I asked a question to the skies. A hawk flew over. Is this automatically to be taken as a yes? Hawk wants me to trust myself. If one remains earthbound, the possibilities of life are limited.

"A life without love in it is like a heap of ashes upon a deserted hearth, with Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction."
-Antoine de Saint-Exupery
